Katie grew up in a conservative Jewish family and was very active in her synagogue. She has had a passion for Jewish education and decided to receive her Master’s Degree in Jewish Education from American Jewish University in 2014. Katie has served as the Director of Youth programs for many synagogues throughout Southern California.

Mark and Katie have two young children who absolutely LOVE celebrating the Jewish holidays. Every year in December, their kids always ask to go see the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. As a product manager for a Fortune 100 company, Mark thought – why aren’t there more Hanukkah decorations for the outdoors?

At that point, we conducted research and found very little decorations available to celebrate the holiday. With Mark’s background developing products and Katie’s background in Jewish Education, we will be able to deliver new indoor and outdoor products to celebrate Hanukkah so that Jewish boys and girls around the world can truly celebrate the Festival of Lights.
